So it has been a long week. My grandmother passed away and I spent last weekend visiting her in the hospital and this weekend burying her. She was 92 and her demise was a long hard time coming so it is good that she passed, but it is hard on my mom without my dad to help her out. It was good to see my brothers and we killed what has become our traditional bottle of bourbon in the hotel the night before. I did run into some of the other side of the family which was cool. My youngest fell out of bed the night before and got a nice black eye out of it. She didn't cry and just got back in bed so in the morning we were all surprised. Kind of cute, but not what you need right now. My eldest is selling girl scout cookies. She is supposed to sell 100 boxes which I thought was insane but she already has 70 some sold. Most of them are to out of state family and friends so I will spend a fortune on postage but she will get her stuff done so that is worth it.
