Time for a new blog. I have been slacking on SG here lately but today I am catching up. There are lots of great sets in MR and I even checked out a few on the front page today.
The last few weeks have been crazy busy at work. Tis the season for Christmas parties and awards banquets and what not so I have been cooking my giant ass off. Now that I have some time off it is too nasty outside to do anything so the girls and I spent yesterday cleaning house, doing laundry, dancing to these fools and putting up the tree.
If you have never heard the spikedrivers you better axe somebody.
It is fun to watch the girls anticipate Christmas as I generally dread it. Watching them dance around made my day. I can't wait till I get paid and I can go buy their stuff and go shopping for the food. Two things I love, watching them open their gifts and cooking crazy stuff for my family for three days. My baby bro has a few recipes for appetizers that he wants me to make him and he wants me to teach him some Indian dishes so he can stop spending so much on take out. My brother in-law is coming to town next week and he always wants chix fried steak. The wife has requested smoked duck which I try to do every year since it is what we had on our first married Christmas.
I am also started to get excited about the Christmas eve eve party we are supposed to go to. It is being thrown by a local pawn shop and everyone that works there is a musician of some kind and half of them I have played with before so that should be a rowdy good time. The wife is psyched for it so that always helps.
I should get off here and do something today. Have fun.
