So I decided to look at the regional section to see if there was anything going on around the mid west SG party wise. There was a thread that was a few months long about getting together in Chicago which could be doable if it happens but for the most part all of the threads were a year or so old and any body that looked interesting was expired. That's too bad. The mid west should be bumpin' what the fuck else is there to do. All of the descriptions of the places people came from were that they were boring and sleepy. Why not have a party and introduce a little zaz. It would take a lot of doing to pull off something like that but I know that in this economy there has to be a temporarily unemployed type A personality kind of person that could come in and knock one out. I should shut up since I am not going to do anything about it myself but i was a little surprised at the lack of activity in the group. I am spoiled because PSW's and Ass Appreciators always have something to say. I am going to keep putting stuff up there to see what happens.
Usually I don't need a Dead cover but this has always been one of my favorites. It is a faithful retelling of an excellent song modernized to suit the tastes of a different generation. What a cover should be.
I am so ready to be done with this job I can't stand it. It is made even worse by the fact that there is nothing going on this week until Easter but Easter is why they are keeping me around. Aside from people making sad faces at me the mood has improved considerably. It is hard to fuck with me too much now. I took all my stuff home monday because I needed something to do. I wrote out my resignation which was three sentences long and very dry.
I am psyched to go on a road trip with ms. Sun she is fun to go places with and she rides in the car well. She will be taking school work but she will probably finish that on the first day and just chill the rest of the time. I need to figure out how to turn off the passenger air bag so she can sit in front. That should be fun. I am psyched to meet my Mississippi nephew and my Arkansas god son. I want to eat at the Shed again. Good BBQ, Great bar.
