Finally the sun is out and it is almost 50 degrees outside. Jesus H Tapdancing Christ I have seen the light! I actually came home and immediately walked the dog. Spring is teasing me right now. I have my final interview on wed. I can't wait. My job has been even harder to endure with something on the line. Tonight the wife has declared that she is ready to drink and get down. I'm glad because I could use a rowdy evening and she could too! She is doing well juggling work and school and mom and wife responsibilities. I'm proud of her. She is knocking everything out and kicking ass. I couldn't go back to school anymore unless it was food related. My tolerance for sitting and bullshit is too low. Alot of what she is doing is math related too. My math skills never existed and they have only worsened. My country band is now officially called Three Quarter Mile. We have something on face book but I don't think anybody else can see it. I don't face book so I'm not sure. I have always strayed away from doing a straight country band but this has been fun. The subject of writing our own songs has come up. I have never been a fan of my own music ,with a couple of exceptions,so it is hard to think about starting to make my own music again. I have memories of smokey basement/dormroom jam sessions full of angsty unrequited love songs and anthems about funk taking over the world.
