I went to the Bagdad Theater tonight to see the Portland talent show, "Pizzazz".... but jeeeezus, talk about a too-long line to wait in. It stretched down the block, then down the back block... and that was at 6:30 1/2 hour til the show was supposed to start. What'supwidat? They said the doors were open at 6.... huh. This is a good entry. I have come to the same conclusions that you have... about memories... worry... vice... I'll add to this conclusion the feeling that I am standing at a crossroads in life lately... I need you to come and play slide guitar, duel with Satan for me -- a new path is just around the corner.
My most very favorite Cheech moment in this entry:
" blah blah, paradise, blah blah, Most Beautiful Place on Earth, etc. etc."
ps- I am a new'ish honey fan as well, although I've eaten it my whole life, I've just started to appreciate just how good it really is. We got this kind that's some exotic New Zealand wildflower style of creamed honey -- it is to die for on a slab of french bread toast with my coffee, let me tell you....

sounds like that was a great show. sometimes i wish i was living in Portland. i went out there for the Nurse with Wound show at the Doug Fir and stayed for a few days, seemed really cool if wet and grey.
i got to see mcluskey on what turned out to be their last tour, they were/are awesome. damn, too bad BGIMM didn't hear that dedication, i was chatting with her on myspace just before playing it. oh well....
if i can get out to my storage space, i'll try to dig out some of that C86/early brit pop stuff. i used to have the NME comp but i fear i may have sold it for drug money back in the day!

The Redskins finally had a victory and Relevantswitch was asleep through most of the game recovering from game night at Saint Insomniac's. I relished in changing the channel when he woke up, not only for having to watch a mere 14 intense minutes and also because OMGs they were winning!

You're right. I mean, I need my alone time (and when I need it I get grumpy as hell) but when I'm left to my own devices for too long I get restless and sad.
And I totally want to get one of those big fancy crowns like the Queen has. Yeah!
