I saw The Baxter last night. An enjoyable movie, and in my memory pretty clean- I can't really recall the drug or sex references that supposedly make it "PG-13." A lot of the State/ Stella/ Wet Hot American Summer folks make appearances, naturally. Critics say it isn't funny, but then they didn't understand WHAS, either. Also, not that it matters, but Michelle Williams looks unbelievably cute and hot in it. The City Paper said she had a bad haircut; jeez, wish every woman had a "bad" haircut that made them so adorable... and I'd always just thought of her as "that nudge from Dawson's Creek and Dick."
It's not as funny as WHAS, but it's a lot more subtle anyway, and it's decidedly funnier than Broken Flowers (which isn't really a comedy), and better.
