I was freaking out at work because I read Publisher's Weekly and there's a comic book with the author listing "Tony Bedard" and I went "TONY B, FROM THE ICKY BOYFRIENDS!?!?" That's right the drummer from one of my favorite punk bands, and stars of my favorite punk movie ever, I'M NOT FASCINATING. Tony was my favorite Icky in the movie. Jonathan had to play it all aloof as the band egomaniac, and Shea well...his personality is blaaah. The only person capable of stealing that movie from (director) Danny Plotnick veterans Chris Enright and Ray Wilcox is "Tony...Tony B," as he'd say.
So does anyone know if Tony Bedard the comic book author and Tony B the Icky Boyfriend are the same person? I'm guessing no, but...god, that'd be weird.

Elvis Costello is getting remarried??!? God, I had no idea him and Caitlin broke up! ! It was six months ago? Huh. I'm sorry to see that. I mean, aside from playing bass on Red Roses for Me (which....I'm sorry Cherry and Nic, but that trumps you guys, even) she cowrote "Tokyo Storm Warning" on Blood and Chocolate, an obvious rip-off of the mid-60s Dylan style of verbose-abstract ...Dylan-ness. Check it out sometime; "cheap Korean monster-movie scenery," love those lyrics. Blood and Chocolate has some killer songs.

I have two Questions Of The Day for you:
1. Describe a weird compulsive behavior you have/had.
2. Who is your favorite Jackass character (other than Johnny or Bam; please pick someone more original)?
1. When I was a teen, I always used odd numbers of ice cubes. I don't know how I settled on odd numbers. It would have to be 3, 5, or 7. I wouldn't call this an OCD because 1) I wouldn't trip if one of the cubes split in two, 2) I would not panic if handed a soda with crushed ice, 3) after a while, I said "Why the HELL am I doing this??" and stopped...but that was after several years.
2. It's hard to pass on Pontius, Steve-O, or Wee-man, but I really appreciate Danger Ehren Macgheney's enthusiasm and use of "safety first". I also liked Dmitri's dazed look when he knocked parts of his teeth out. You have to give it up for lost teeth. But I do have Steve-O's first video; it's hard to pass on him....I guess I can't choose.

1) Uh...masturbating (is that weird & compulsive?).
2) I have never seen that show in it;s entirety. How many times can you watch someone fall down or staple their balls to their leg before it starts to get boring?
