Hah, well, I think my vacation plans are comin together! I've been reading up on Maine/ Boston, have a Boston hotel reservation for Thurs-Sat, and am gettin my Portland one tomorrow morning (I hope!).
I suppose this is a complete shot in the dark, but- anybody around Boston wanna meet up? I guess that's.... Jule and uhh... Minsc_and_Boo has gone gray... and uhh... Bailey? Emily? Hahahaaaa. Ho.
I finished the book (see last entry). Huh. I liked it. Odd little book, short, didn't get to all the things it starts, and explained mmm some of what was going on. Mr. Robinson definitely is a peculiar fellow. The funny thing is- I think it speaks a lot about our current (Republican, post-9/11) societal situation (paranoia, weaponry, issues of torture, cuts of taxes for social services, very odd religious rumblings... did I mention paranoia?) and yet it was written in 1993.
