Combo Xmas Wish List and Spinal Tap Survey Gournal
Hi everyone. Been drinking again... and I have Tap doing "Stonehenge" on right now!! Ah, how they danced, the children of Stawnenge!...
ANyway, this is what I want for Xmaz:
1) Zappa albums I haven't got already*
2) Gentleman Jack - this is a good option for poor people, as the baby bottles** are like $2, and I can sneak them into clubs so as not to pay $7 for a fuggin drink (and all they got's friggin Maker's Mark or Knob Creek or Beam or Jack).
This is my official Tap survey:
1) What Tap song has the best guitar tone (in conjunction with the "guitar tone" Thread)?
2) Has Tap actually influenced other bands of today?
3) Could Tap have changed the choreography of the dwarves, so as not to trod on the Stonehenge, and salvaged the "Stonehenge" number (as per Derek's suggestion)?
4) Doesn't Spinal Tap Mark II sound a lot like late '70s Can or Mahavishnu Orchestra?
5) Why did Smell the Glove tank? Was it the mixing wasn't in Dobly, or was it because the album cover looked like Death?
6) Do you prefer jazz/blues or blues/jazz festivals?
7) Who was Tap's The Best Drummer Evear?
8) What's the The Best Tap Lyrics Evaar?
9) Which Tap member would you sleep with The Most Everr?
10) Do ya have the balls? Well, do ya??

* Zappa in New York - Fillmore East June '71 - Just Another Band from LA - Lather - Burnt Weenie Sandwich - Shut Up & Play Yr Guitar - You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore #2 - Zoot Allures - Weasels Ripped My Flesh - Lost Episodes - Saarbrucken - The Ark - Playground Psychotics - Baby Snakes - Any Way the Wind Blows - Joe's Garage
** to recap- I mean airline-type bottles!

I'm thinking about going on a date with this long lost girlfriend this weekend, but I don't know...
The ink isn't dry on her divorce. Maybe she's just horny or somethin'..
Have you seen American Splendor? I love that movie. Almost as much as Groundhog day....word.
There's a new Zappa re-issue out now. Something that's been long out of print. So much Zappa, so little time.
"This one goes to 11" favorite Tap moment.
