I forgot to mention Stella's All-Time Party Jams.
Michael Showalter - Kool & the Gang, "Celebration"
Michael Ian Black - Baha Men, "Who Let the Dogs Out?"
David Wain - John Denver, "Leavin' on a Jet Plane"
I'm gonna try out Black's corresponding, awesome dance at a "hip" club.
also, I can't wait to get a group of 3 or more together to play Zots And Grambles.... it's this great word game that Showalter found in an English pub.
Also - I had dinner with my parents, sister and her kids. Her daughter is a couple months old; son is 11.
I found a book, one of the 33 1/3 book series, about Let it Be. I love this album, for the most part (I haven't got Let It Be... Naked yet, but I have lots of demos from Anthology 3). I've already seen some interesting things in it. At one point, George Harrison walked out on the band, saying "I'm leaving the band. You can put an ad in the NME [for a new guitarist]," and didn't come back for a few days. They spent the rest of the afternoon doing really nasty, sloppy, aggressive, crazy takes of songs. John Lennon's quote was supposedly, "If he doesn't come back by Tuesday, we'll just get Clapton." It must be nice to have that option!
ps - Oh, I was tellin' Wreckyourlife- I got some Deaner stickers from his still-vibrant and informative website (which, as you see, had supported Kerry earlier this month; he's no backbiter!), so they will pimp out my ride!

I've loved LOVED reading your journals lately, even if I've been a little quiet, I always read yours. It's practically how I get most of my news lately.
