Now that Hollywood has given us the oft-sought clash between the Alien(s) and the Predator(s), it's only time before people clamor for the settlement of that next most-asked-barroom-question:
Who'd win in a fight?- the Humanoids from the Deep or the Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers?
That's right, it's CHUD versus... umm, HFTD... not sure how you'd pronounce that second one...
Both are humanoids, so that's a wash. The CHUD have a pronouncable nickname, so that's going for them... but the HFTD are pretty frisky, from what I read upon movie's release, so... dunno. It would really depend upon the turf, and I would think a good spot would be (for it's convenient driving-distance-proximity to urban locales such as New York, Boston, and Providence for the CHUD, and the cool Atlantic shores of new England for the HFTD)... Bangor, Maine maybe? I mean, who'd expect a creepy tale set in Bangor?
As for stars of the movie, I know Mr. Van Damme and Mr. Segal have open calendars. How great would that be- 2/3 of the movie humanoids eating other humanoids in fierce humanoid-battle, the last 1/3 them getting their ass kicked via past-their-prime white-guy ninjas? Excellent.
Joe Don Baker can't star, though... cuz he's deceased. Some production problems, not even Mr. Lucas's CGI can surmount.

House shopping does suck, but at the time I was annoyed by other things.
