After work, I'm going back to that record store (from Sunday) to pick up my $40 for trade-ins. I'm thinking about picking up a 99 cent vinyl copy of The Six Wives of Henry VIII by Rick Wakeman; it's not every day you get a chance to buy the World's Most Pretentious Album for a buck.

Okay, I'm home now. I got the Wakeman album... more importantly, I got my copy of Don Cherry's Brown Rice in the mail. I got it on eBay for like $11. All I can say is 1) look how many Don Cherry mentions there are in Lemonkid's Profile, 2) it has Frank Lowe on sax, 3) it's out-of-print for some damn reason... and I got it for less than a new album.

The title track is eerily catchy. It has wah-wah electric pianos

Some of you might know that I ordered Frank Lowe's The Flam used via Amazon. It cost $38.... and it never arrived. Fortunately, I got a refund from that store, and on Sunday I won it from a dude on eBay for $22.
