I'm a bit sad

...no, it's nothing major, it's just that... there aren't enough hours left in the day for me to do what I want. Which is:

-- listen to Amazon clips of about 10 or 12 obscure jazz freaks, such as Booker Ervin, Mal Waldron, Sam Rivers, Ben Schachter, Rob Reddy's Honor System, Henry Threadgill, Ralph Simon, Dewey Redman, Jemeel Moondoc, etc etc... I'm not saying they're all good; I haven't heard most of them at all. That's the point. I need to.

-- listen to jazz I already have, like Ole Coltrane and 'trane and Shepp at Newport.

-- listen to Flipper's Generic

-- download fake GI Joe PSAs, which make me piss my pants with laughter

-- download Deerhoof songs

-- listen to any Amazon clips of prog-metal and goth-metal freaks like In Flames, Atheist, Opeth, Cynic, Nightwish, Control Denied, etc etc.

I'm also a bit sad that souljacker hasn't put up a real pic yet (I bet cash money the next one will be that Echo fellow, from Echo and the Bunnymen, again) and that I looked at Archive SG Anouck's Profile and she seems really cool! Why did I not write to her, or find this out, 'til now?

Oh well... I predict the next noise that I hear will be.... skronky sax
