Saddam's Confidant: My Life with Saddam Hussein's Inner Circle by Ala Bashir (May) - Bad stuff 'bout... oh, Hussein this time. I wonder if Bashir wants to hang out with Saddam still... hey, where is Saddam nowadays? Chilling with Manuel Noriega?
The Halliburton Agenda: The Politics of Oil and Money by Dan Briody (May) - I think they just wanna give "the troops" cell phones; what a bunch of nice guys!
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: 25th Anniversary Edition by Douglas Adams (August) - Adds 42 (I guess that was the question) pages of story from Adams's archive, plus commentary from 21 other authors.
Hitchhiker by M. J. Simpson (November 2003) - Not a new book, really, but new-ish, and more stuff to succor fans re: the early passing of Doug.
John Waters: Change of Life by various authors (March) - I don't think this is going to have photos from Waters's exhibition of the same name... but it might? It will have essays by many people about Waters, plus an interview of the man by Todd Solondz.
Cronies: Oil, the Bushes, and the Rise of Texas, America's Superstate by Robert Bryce (June) - Ahem, "profiles the Texans and the Texas corporations who have wielded, and continue to wield, great power in America's domestic and foreign policy."
Worse than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W. Bush by John W. Dean (April) - Hmmm...
The Hammer: Tom DeLay by Lou Dubose and Jan Reid (June) - From the few blurbs I've read on this guy at Amazon... phew, what a jerk.
I'll Be Your Mirror: The Andy Warhol Interviews by Kenneth Goldsmith (July) - Self-explanatory.
Let Slip the Pies of War by "Agent Apple" (April) - No details onthis one, really, but since it's from AK Press I'm assuming it's one of those anti-corporate pie-throwing guys.
