I have Wet Hot American Summer on in the background; I can't stop watching this movie....
I mean, you clearly said smear mud on your ass
I ate more Brussels cookies tonight. I'm just glad I only bought two bags...
Blasted Gary Numan on the way to work today-- "Me? I Disconnect from You" and "Are 'Friends' Electric?"... blasted Weezer and Violent Femmes going home.
Gone, daddy, gone ...freakin A

I was looking at electronics books at work today, seeing what we should get rid of. I noticed we had a few obsolete VCR repair books, so I went to look up DVD-player repair books.
There really aren't any on Amazon.
I was getting disappointed in the USA for a second. I thought-- this is symptomatic of how the country's becoming all "service industry," a bunch of twits with no hands-on, constructive skills. DVD player breaks? Buy another! ...but then my dept. manager said, "They probably have too many high-tech parts for people to work with." Hmm. That might be true, too.... but it's making me question my own ignorance at hands-on repair work, or at least computer work. After all, Lisa Carver said that Generation-L-worthy he-men should be able to fix things. She's right, right?

My dream has always been that The Cars cover "Cars" by Gary Numan. Of course, Ben Orr is deceased... but then Gary Numan could stand in for him and play, like, synth-bass... then, instead of Ben Orr's weird-English-accent singing, you could have... Gary Numan's. Last I saw, though, Elliot Easton was playing... bar-band blues.... in blues bars... egad

I look more like Jeff Lebowski with the physical build of Walter. Perhaps in the near future it will be full scale lebowski. With a little less pizza and red meat perhaps. Truth be told, I have both the 'Nam Vet intensity of Walter plus the Keep On Truckin' mentality of The Dude. It's weird how important that movie is.

thx for the "handshake"
gary numan is typically old school "essex", jus like depeche mode, alison moyat, erasure etc. essex being the county within england they came from (and prob still live). if that doesn't make sense this link might help, though essex people are generally richer, on account of most of them being gangsters/footballers molls and/or late 20th century pop stars
