...on the bright side, when I was going through the online entertainment news yesterday, I saw that Tammy Lynn Michaels and Melissa Etheridge tied the knot.
For the... umm, few... of you that never watched Popular, the show's gay subtext and general perversity-headed infiltration was massive. Some of the creators of it also did But I'm a Cheerleader. Still, I never would've figured Nicole, one of the "Glamazon" popular girls, was gonna some day marry Melissa. I read a bio on Tammy, though, and it makes sense. Her mom was single, they were butt-ass poor, quite a long way from Nicole Julian. Michaels is 29 and Melissa's 42. Melissa was kinda married before; hope this one works out betta.
And did I mention my giant-asstastic crush on April Tuna, as played by Adria Dawn? Oh yeah, I did, to toaster. April was a shocking-orange-haired psycho-nerd; her sister May Tuna was more psycho, less verbose, and ate cat litter. Then, in the first season cliffhanger, she died. Goodnight, funnywoman May Tuna.
