Hmm, so I've gotten a call that the city govt. will be closed tomorrow. Hurricane.
It's important to take the proper precautions, of course. The electricity might go out... around here, the way things have gone during storms, it is highly likely the electricity will go out. I'm doing things right now that I might not be able to do later, such as post on here and tape Hendrix albums for MisterSatan.
It's kinda awesome to get off from work
but kinda sucky when you have a 90% chance of losing electricity so you won't be able to do anything 
I got a fair amount of bottled water... and Cheerios. Wish I'd been able to find one of those big square batteries for my emergency lamp. It is gonna be no fun in here with no airconditioning and no lights but candles. I suppose my lamp has a little energy left in it, but not much.
I hope crazybob, alf, Edie, and Clara have taped their Hendrix albums for MisterSatan already...
