So, the eyes are okay. I can't see super-great right now. My right eye is pretty great. My left is still blurry. At the follow-up exam, the technician said I have "20/20 vision"...well, there's 20/20 with cloudiness/healing-to-be-done and then there's 20/20... so I have the former right now... the procedure didn't hurt. My eyes teared a lot yesterday afternoon, and I slept a lot, and they're kinda dry today, but really nothing else to mention.

For obvious reasons, I don't feel like staring at a PC screen too long. I will surely come on here later, but for now I will leave you by saying I picked up another lil novel to read, have read 100 pages, and think it is quite the neat book-- The Man in the High Castle by Philip Dick. I had teased zenhell a little before because...well, if you've seen his posts....but I figured the novel might have some intrigue and style, and I hadn't read Dick before
and it seems pretty great so far, my only misgiving being those of any alternative-history book, i.e. certain passages feel like they should be accompanied by a little cartoon guy holding a sign saying "EXPOSITION! EXPOSITION!" ...but such is alternate history. You can't know it if you're not taught it...
