1-- 7 things to do before skull
1) familiar with the real, true love thing? Yeah, that.
2) find a job where I feel passably human 80% of the time
3) experience all the okay-to-great artistic works on the earth
4) edinburgh; Reykjavik; Tokyo; Ireland; anywhere Bambi n Kikka are at
5) care less what jerks think while minimizing my own jerk-ness, which leads to
6) serenitatem accipere res quae non possum mutare, fortitudinem mutare res quae possum, atque sapientiam differentiam cognoseere.
7) if I do the first 6, thatll be freakin plenty enough. Id love to re-learn Spanish, learn new languages like Bambis German, Kikkas Polish, Bjorks Icelandic, as much phonetic Japanese as I could (the script is a little daunting), and Sorcha is correct that Russian is very sexy. I dont think I have the patience for all this, though. :^/ Its enough to kick myself in the ass to go read some fiction in English.

2-- 7 things I cant do.
1) fit in
2) fake it*
3) fall asleep quickly**
4) stop thinking**
5) get excited about a career**
6) get the real love thing even remotely enacted
7) refrain from in-jokes or viciously obscure references

3-- 7 things that attract me to where I live.
1) cool folks I know in tri-state area (MD-DC-VA)
2) lotta art venues
3) good Indian and Thai place around
4) The National Arboretum
5) . .not much else, really; thats why Im moving away

4-- Seven things I say most often.
1) goddamn
2) motherfucker
3) well, thats just fantastic (sarcasm)
4) Mystery solved! (this is an in-joke with myself stemming from the Kids in the Hall skit in which vampire-costumed-gay Mark McKinney is trying to seduce clueless-Maple-Leafs-fan-straight Scott Thompson. Scott asks whats on a VHS tape in Marks home, and Mark goes, Hmmm, a mystery; lets solve the mystery together, and puts the tape in his VCR. The tape plays, out of view of the camera. Mark gets a look of glee; Scott gets a look of disgust:
Scott: this is porno!
Mark: Mm-hmm.
Scott [anguished]: Those are guys!
Mark: Yes, well mystery solved!
Used to denote finding objects lots in my room, or the discovery of any stupid/ annoying fact.)
5) weeeee-ooooo (in a bored tone that mocks Spring break beachgoing jerks on MTV)
6) shitfuck (read Ball Four by Jim Bouton)
7) ulgh (Tom Warrior used to shout this on Celtic Frost albums [where Michael Jackson has HEE-hee and sham-mon, Tom had ULGH!], but I say it more like a quiet, disappointment thing.)

(I think I have positive things to say, but I cant think of any common ones.)

5-- Seven books (or series) that I love.
1) theyre
2) listed
3) in the
4) Profile
5) to
6) your
7) left

6-- Seven movies/DVDs I watch over and over again (or would if I had time).
1) see
2) that
3) Profile
4) thingy
5) again?
6) Well,
7) mystery solved!

7-- Things I can do. (I will refrain from picking on anyone to do this. I will try to end on a semi- positive with things I can do, to match the things I cant and future goals [that I think I cant do] up above.)
1) see through the empty crap of society
2) average in the mid-140s in bowling
3) read lots of book reviews, particularly nonfiction
4) wank successfully

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
look, it made me laugh louder than any other entry here (adding the successfully is what did it), so I have to include it

(Note: the preceding spoiler is a written sentence, not an uploaded pic. Give me some credit.)
5) sing as well as Bob Pollard, Bob Dylan, and Mark E. Smith (just waiting to find the karaoke bar with Club Molluska, I Dont Believe You (She Acts Like We Never Have Met), or Totally Wired in rotation)
6) employ courtesy, usually (sometimes Im in a bitchy mood)
7) look frumpy
