work work work work work work.
i sometimes hate being a custom artist in a street shop, and sometimes, when ive worked a kabillionteen days in a row, im grateful to be able to just soak up suckie walk-in fuckholes and not have to really think about anything. i mean, i still give 'em luscious tattoos, but i can do a dolphin with my eyes closed and left-handed.
in other news, im trying to make smokehouse hotsauce. the key, i've heard, is sweeteners added to the pulp, with salt and vinegar......we'll see what happens. plus, the smoker smells molto good.......
skin and ink magazine is considering doing a spot on the shop. i hope they do. the guys all work turbo hard, and are really decent folks to work with. who'd guess that the woods has a crew of doooooooope artists hiding out?
i've done some pretty fresh tattoos, but as usual, there's nearly no record of them. i'm debating never photographing any crap for a while, and just letting go of all the attachment to the work. most folks dont decide on an artist up here based on a 'real' portfolio anyway. i dont have any fairies or buttaflys, so i probly suck, right?
