I haven't said anything in a while, i know. There honestly hasn't been too much to talk about. Same old gripes, too much rain. (I don't know how you people in Oregon do it!) Besides, the fact that so many people get together to celebrate this. I think that it's so little about the actual football game that that isn't even the primary focus. It's just the excuse to get all this together. This happens in football, rather than other sports, because the football playoffs are not as extended and have very few games compared to the 5- and 7- game series associated with baseball, basketball and hockey. So, it's much easier to watch one game and rally around that. That's why the superbowl is so big, it's because that's it. Four quarters later, it's decided, not 7 games.
