I rode my bike around town this morning.
One of the top wheelchair roadracers lives and trains here. For the past few years a bunch of them have trained here for the Peachtree Road Race, which is held on the Fourth of July weekend.
College St. (no college, just a street
) is decorated with the flags of the participants home countries.
I also rode throught the park.
This is the former site of the city pool. Just the fact that I learned to swim there should have been reason to save it.

The US beat Canada 2-0 in women's soccer this afternoon. Charmaine Hooper of Canada came on in the second half as a sub. Marci Miller came on as a sub for the US in stoppage time. Both formerly were with the Atlanta Beat in the defunct WUSA. Got me a little emotional watching them on tv.

a very long way from navy blue, indeed. the people at the hair salon were like, this is the only blue we have. so i was like, fine..

nah, i don't really like it yet, i gotta fix it & make all my hair navy, not just sections of it like it is right now. all i did was cover up the turquoise for work, but it's not right yet.
