Tomorrow begins the 36 hour (or so) drama that is going with my father to Jackson, TN to see my uncle, who has Alzheimers. It's sad seeing someone year after year that has no memory of who you are. He's had Alzheimers for years, it's hard to remember him sometimes as he was. You can ask him questions and sometimes get a "yes" or "no" answer, but you don't know if he really knows what you're asking. I stopped by to see him when I was in Memphis a few months ago. We'll drag my aunt (his and my father's sister) to see him (she lives in the 'burbs of Memphis), then go out to eat.
My father's favorite part of the trip (or any trip, for that matter) is breakfast at Cracker Barrel or Shoney's.

Very good, Chaz, but that was the obvious pun. Are you slipping?

You are a treasure trove of bad jokes, Chaz. Keep up the good work!
