For me, the renfair season is beginning. This week we set up our booth at Mayfair in Marshall, Michigan, a small fair that lasts for two weekends. I'm sure I'll run into lots of old acquaintances as the season gets under way. Fun!
I'm also getting a new old car this week, a lovely Toyota Cressida luxury sedan. For an old beast, it's in beautiful shape--good mileage, no rust and the interior is perfect. This should last me for quite a while. My motto is, never buy a new car. New cars are too expensive, depreciate too fast, and the cost of insurance for full coverage is ridiculous. I'm getting a good deal on the car because my son works for the dealer where I'm buying it. After having driven old rust buckets for years, this is going to be a nice change.
