More excitement!
Today while I was walking my dog, Happy Scrappy, we were stalked by a pit bull, a BIG pit bull. Why some neighbors can't tie up their dogs blows my mind. The pit bull followed us for half a block while the owner feebly ran after him calling him back. Meanwhile, I was dragging my dog off by his leash as fast as I could. My old lab would have been no match for that monster, and match or no match, I wouldn't have let him fight anyway if I could help it. Fortunately a police car drove up and the policeman asked me if the pit bull was bothering my dog. I answered, "Not yet!" The pit bull ran off when the police car pulled up. It's owner kept after it, and the policeman got out of his car and joined the chase. I took off in the opposite direction to keep my dog and me out of harm's way, so I never learned what happened. I hope the owner got a ticket!

Poor Happy Scrappy must've needed a drink after all that!
