Sic transit gloria mundi! Or something like that. I guess that's why we have to "carpe diem!"

Update on my son: He posted bail and now is waiting for his hearing to be scheduled.

Without going too deeply into what happened, his girlfriend (now ex) got mad because he wanted to look at girls on the Internet with his friend. She started screaming, and then ran out of the house and took my truck for a joy ride. She drove it for...

Last week started out pretty good, but ended wretchedly.

Last weekend we had bikers weekend here in BC, and some of my friends' bands played on the stage set up in the middle of downtown. The sound techs really did a good job, because everyone sounded great. You could hear the bands clearly more than two blocks away. I drank lots of pop and had...

SG is really fascinating! It reminds me of Plato's parable of the cave. Initially, we are all two dimensional people -- the girls and the members. The journals put flesh on the bones -- or do they? Hmm!
jordan:
yeah...i don't enjoy puking, i just enjoy watching guys puke, a weird fetish. i was listening to howard stern and he had a guest on there once who had the same deal, and he called himself a "medophile" so i guess there's an actual name for it puke i'm glad you're enjoying my novel! miao!!

My daughter and her husband are having a war. You know what? Sometimes it's a good thing that she lives in Brisbane. I can live on serenely over here, and not have to get involved in the petty garbage that couples seem to generate.

Life is too short! We worry about the wrong things, and fight about irrelevancies. Sit back and watch "The War of...

A great day! Got a new friend, and that makes any day super.

I also have a pretty smart cat. He spits his hairballs in the bathtub. "Yuck!" you say. Well, it's better than on the carpet.

I love my Apple. I cannot complain one bit - it's been on constantly for 18 months. I applaud your brother-in-law! He's been writing some good shit! biggrin

Les is the best, man. biggrin I've been hopelessly addicted for going on five years now! And to think she's going to be an RN soon. I think she should get some old-school WHITE scrubs and the little hat. Maybe shoot a set. biggrin

I won't be working the Michigan Renfest this year. Too much going on around here, and besides, I need a new car, which I won't be getting until next year.

This love stuff drives me nuts. I wish I could write about my great romances here, but nobody would believe me and walls have ears. I've gotten into enough trouble as it is -- not...

he's about 4 years younger than you are, so he must've been one of the first graduating classes there. Matter of fact, I think he went to Central for a couple of years before they moved out to the country. Real small world. There's a fella that still lives in the area by the name of "Trapper Dan"... last name escapes me. He and Pa still get together and drink when he makes it down to visit Gran.
kay:
What do you normally do at the festival out in Michigan?

I finished the Unblooded Prince yesterday between chores, and now my mind is racing with theories about what will happen in the last book of the Harry Potter saga. What my ideas are I'll keep to myself--I don't want to ruin the book for anyone. It's definitely worth the read.

well thank you sir charlemagne...you look so elegant in your profile picture! xo

Last Friday night was Harry Potter night at the store, for the sixth book in the series finally came out. We had a big party and games for the kids and their parents, and I had fun hosting the trivia questions.

Because I had to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday, I still haven't finished the book. It seems to be as good as any of...

I went to the movie "Crash" with my brother yesterday, and really enjoyed it. Usually I go to movies like "Troy," or LOTR, or Harry Potter--you get the picture. Anyway, this movie was full of all kinds of moral ambiguities. Worth a watch.
