Well it is pretty late now but I feel I have been lacking in my journal updates so here I am. I got home from work today at about 6:30 and found to my great surprise that I have no money in either my checking or savings accounts thanks to Mr. Unknown. Thanks to him for overdrawing my checking and getting that automatic transfer from my savings.
I thought the worst was behind with that but it wasn't.
I was really looking forward to dinner in Saint Paul, too. Well, hopefully next time.
I took that as an omen to go and spend money, I guess, because I went to the movies tonight and saw I Heart Huckabees. I liked it alot. It had alot of dialog, which I normally don't like. But I would still recommend it.
Today was my wife's birthday and she spent the day with her boyfriend. It doesn't bother me anymore that she does. It just got me thinking, how am I going to meet anyone new now. I have never dated in my life. I was with her since I was 15 or 16. I don't even know how to approach a girl anymore. Not to mention I am not the most Fabio like man you will see. My third drawback is that women seem to like only assholes and I am not one. Just the thought of dating again is too discouraging to put into words.
As if these things weren't enough for me. I thought I had found a house in Minneapolis to buy and was getting my self together to make my bid tomorrow and what happens? Two people get shot and killed within walking distance of it. I changed my mind on the house. Why can't people just be nice to each other? I am pretty much out of time in finding now with my closing right around the corner. Now I am relagated to choosing between living in my sis's basement for the winter for 200 a month or getting myself an Apartment. Neither is attractive, at this point.
Between stress, where I am going to live, how I am going to straighten out my money, moving, and supporting my wife financially on not enough money to pay our bills, I think one more pebble of stress just may topple me like a deck of cards.
QOTD
1. How long have you been friends with your longest standing friendship? My friend Jeff, 21 years
2. If you had the choice of a lifelong companion or all the money you could ever want, which would you choose? Companion every time
3. Because I am a HUGE movie fan: What is your favorite movie of all time? In the Name of the Father
4. Is there anyone out there for me? Who knows
Have a nice day everyone. I hope to see you at the party. I am going as a fat man in his late twenties. See if you can spot me!

1. How long have you been friends with your longest standing friendship? Hmmm I have lost touch with most of my childhood or even high school friends. I guess it would be my friend Jen. We had a period where we weren't speaking but we are again now. She was my best friend for about 7 years. Then she moved away to get away from me. She is coming to visit tomorrow. We have not seen each other in a year and a half. I am a tense and anxious wreck. Hoping it will go well. Terrified it will not
2. If you had the choice of a lifelong companion or all the money you could ever want, which would you choose? the companion as long as it is the right one.
3. Because I am a HUGE movie fan: What is your favorite movie of all time? that is tough. my answer would probably change depending on my mood. But I guess right now I would say The Salton Sea.
4. Is there anyone out there for me? I think there was. But now it may be too late. This weekend may be my last chance to make it work. Wish me luck.
Hope you have a great weekend.
