Ok, so my journal has been all dark and depressing lately, I thought I'd add a little funny...

So, I got up this morning and decided I was going to make pancakes for the kids. I should not cook. It's just not a good idea.

So, I started out ok.. the mixture looked like the right consistancy. Then I turned on the griddle thing.. I have no idea what tempurature to use.. so I'm guessing here..

So, I pour the pancake goop onto the griddle and they get all bubbley.. and then I learn (the hard way) that I'm apparently not good at flipping them. HUGE MESS! Ok.. so they aren't gonna be pretty but they'll taste good.

But wait, we can't just have pancakes.. we need scrambled eggs too. So I scrammble some eggs.. even I can't fuck that up.

I then proceed to pour the eggs onto the griddle.. ok, big problem.. the griddle thingy has a whole at the edge for the grease to go through and there go my eggs... now the stupid grease thingy is overflowing with goopy egg junk.. this is not good.

AND.. the griddle is so hot that they eggs are cooking in the grease collector thingy.. eggs expand when they cook... uhg..

SO.. now I'm standing my kitchen with pieces of blueberry pancake (because they fell apart when I flipped them) and ever expanding egg coming out of the griddle grease thingy..

Note to self * next weekend just go to McDonalds.*

Guess I better go clean my kitchen. Oy!
