the ocean turned a sickening unearthly black at her pressence
her very existance, a foul parody of reality
a deathly perversion of our world
the horrific silence resounded ominously
it was as if i was standing before the spirit of destruction incarnate
yet still my crew and myself
steeled ourselves in this eternal moment of terror
