Let's see... I'm tired and my head hurts. I've only been sleeping about six hours a night (day, really) which I don't think is helping matters much. Woke up from a dream yesterday about creepy crawling things. Centipedes in my water cup, a thick, beefy earthworm oozing up from my kitchen sink. Sickening. And today I woke up after dreaming about something seriously going *BOOM,...

i drew an earthworm while i was at work in my cubicle yesterday. it was being taunted by a bird in a tight dress with big boobs and a nice ass.... i call it "allure"

Woke up to an earthquake today. Pretty exciting. And certainly the most shaking this bed's ever seen. It's the first earthquake Indiana's seen in a long time. Of course, it was also a good distance from here, out by Evansville. But I felt it.

In other news... well, there is no other news. Pffft.

Oh, I figured out that if I'm going to (sort of)...

I never managed to put on any pants this weekend. No one called me back about doing fun things, but I didn't feel too hot, anyhow. I damn near passed out while showering Saturday because I hardly ate anything Friday. Stupid hunger.

Spent most of the weekend reading reprints of Steve Gerber's "Howard the Duck" comics from the 1970s. I'll be damned if that shit's...

Have you checked the new Howard comics? I dunno whether they're worth catching up with.

I'm tired. I spent all day yesterday sleeping after returning from Bloomington. Southern Culture on the Skids wears me the fuck out. I'm still sore from bopping about. God, I love those guys (and gal. Mrrrow, Mary).

Looks like the weekend's here. Maybe I should put on some pants and call some people about doing something fun. Meh.

Why don't you come to South Bend for the weekend? I'll show you off around town and get you drunk.

"Basketball jones
I got a basketball jones
Got a basketball jones
So baby, ooh-ooh-oohoohoooohhhhh"

All right, I don't got a basketball jones, but fuck, I love that song.

I'm also obsessed with the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack. Mostly because of Kay Hanley. I love that woman. Listening to her makes me sigh wistfully. She sings like a rock 'n' roll angel.

I'm seeing Southern...

my friend used to sing that song all the time. i don't think i've ever even heard the actual song, just her singing it. it was amusing all the same.

Let's see... nothing exciting happened over the weekend. Most everyone I know was out of town, so I hung out with the few who weren't. Relaxing, really, and, perhaps best of all, cheap. Feel free to send me boxes of cash if you have any laying around.

Tomorrow I go to the periodontist for a follow-up to last year's oh-so-fun gum surgery. Not that I...

Got a call from one of my best friends today. Seems he auditioned for a sitcom pilot and got the part. I'm pretty excited for him.

My sister's on the warpath again, gunning for some girl she's hated since middle school.

And I got that Wolverine/Elektra: The Redeemer hardcover that just came out, by Greg Rucka and that Amano dude that did design work for...

Just finished reading Alan Moore and Jim Baikie's "Skizz" last night. It's the story of a wallaby-shaped alien landing in Birmingham, England and the teenaged girl who finds him. Sort of like ET, only actually funny and amusing and tense. Watching ET in fourth grade was the only time I dozed off in class during elementary school. Glad to see the lost-little-alien story can be...

Rock on to the Alan Moore. His ABC comics (redundantly repetitive?) are among the better books out there these days.

Funny how every now and again you think of people you haven't thought about in who-knows-how-long. I had this friend, Randy, probably the first and only skater I've ever know... he lived across the street from me when I was 12 or 13 or so. I just remembered he had a sister, Melinda or Miranda or something like that. Randy pops into my head every...

I wish to fucking whomever that it would stop raining. There's a fucking deluge about every four days; lucky me, I get two days in a row this week. Barely tolerable heat and driving rain. I should call it a sauna and charge admission.

My head hurts.

I want food.

"Oh, bitch, bitch, bitch."

Lucky bastard. I only pray it would rain here.

We should argue sometime about Terence McKenna; I've several dozen complaints to hedge! Despite loving his loving... haha. Entheogens r0x0r.
anarchakunt:
I on the other hand wish for the barely tolerable heat. Boston is the only place I have ever lived that feels like fucking winter in summer. And I hate the rain, which is falling currently. I would also like to say that Pee-wee's big adventure is a good movie but not as good as Big Top Pee-wee. I suppose that's the end of this pointless commentary.
