Funny how every now and again you think of people you haven't thought about in who-knows-how-long. I had this friend, Randy, probably the first and only skater I've ever know... he lived across the street from me when I was 12 or 13 or so. I just remembered he had a sister, Melinda or Miranda or something like that. Randy pops into my head every now and again, just 'cause I wonder if he tried to skate on the sand when he moved to Arizona, but I haven't even thought about his sister since the last time I actually laid eyes on her. It's not like she and I ever hung out; she was at least a year younger than me, and she talked kind of funny. She was cute, though.
