Let's see... nothing exciting happened over the weekend. Most everyone I know was out of town, so I hung out with the few who weren't. Relaxing, really, and, perhaps best of all, cheap. Feel free to send me boxes of cash if you have any laying around.
Tomorrow I go to the periodontist for a follow-up to last year's oh-so-fun gum surgery. Not that I mind dentists and their ilk; I've had enough people in my mouth that I'm used to it by now. No, there's this incredible assitant working there who caught my eye last year. Short, flippy dark blonde hair and glasses. Yum. I worked up the courage to ask her out -- something very rare for me. Not only is she 12 years older than me -- which is fine, because, like me, she doesn't look a day over 20 -- she's married. And happily, at that. She was, of course, flattered, but didn't mention leaving her husband for me. This is what we call "Bad Luck."
Maybe she has the day off tomorrow.
And Wednesday... SOUTHERN CULTURE ON THE SKIDS!
