I saw the saddest thing in the world today. As I was driving down 287, I saw this mother duck with a team of ducklings surrounding her trying to cross the three lane highway. The mother duck was honking, and the ducklings were swarming around her. All the cars were breaking, trying to swerve around the group. I saw the ducks reach the other side. All but one lone duckling. It was very sad.
