Hello everyone<3
I hope you're all having a wonderful day! Recently, @deadguitarist wrote a fantastic blog featuring myself and the lovely @chvrch titled Pink Magic . You should definitely check it out and the ones before it! It's inspired me to maybe start doing some more blog homework and posting more here. Tbh, I'm not a very open person so bear with me!
I'm going to start with a relatively easy one "Who were your celebrity crushes growing up?" and as a bonus, I'm putting them in chronological order ;)
First was Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys! I'm cringing just thinking about this lol. I must have been 8/9 ish when this was a thing because I don't remember much. All I remember is having tons of BB shirts, posters, dolls (action figures, mom!) and I even had a board game XD
That flame was quickly diminished when I saw LOTR:Fellowship of the Ring. HELLO Legolas!! After that I had about twice as many Legolas posters as I had BB and way more merch too! All the movies, the books, shirts, freakin' binders and pencil cases. And then I saw Pirates of the Caribbean (Black Pearl is still one of my favorite movies today) and fell in love with Will only to realize they were the same person - Orlando Bloom<3
He still gets me sometimes, I'm a sucker for gorgeous dark haired boys<3
But the end all of my celebrity crushes didn't happen until I stumbled upon a full page picture of Good Charlotte in some teeny bop magazine. I remember very clearly how my eyes were immediately drawn to this dark haired cutie as soon as I turned the page. You're probably thinking it was the twins, right? Nope, the guitarist, Billy Martin<3 For years, YEARS, I was obsessed with him and GC in general. GC is a lot of the reason that I am who I am today. I had a shitty childhood and their music helped a lot, I've even got a GC tattoo! They all have the same one right above their elbows and I do too!
I remember specifically drooling over this picture^^
