It's my birthday! Last night my boyfriend's parents got me quite a few new tops and dresses and it totally suprised me. I was kind of anxious about this birthday, kind of fear of the unknown stuff. This is my first birthday without my family as they've disowned me.

I just have too much self-respect to let myself be a doormat to other people's emotionally draining nonsense. And my parents can not have a relationship with me unless they love and accept me fully as I am. 1. They HATE my boyfriend. 2. They HATE that we like to pick up girls together. 3. They HATE that I am bisexual.

The world is your mirror. And I've told them that if they resent anything about me it's telling them something about themselves. When you resist anything, anything at all...it's showing you something that maybe you secretely like, envy, or hate about yourself. ANY TIME. :eek

Here's a quick example - a girl who's boyfriend likes porn and she cannot STAND it! That's right. It totally doesn't bother her that her boyfriend is looking at other women (in fact - her biology LIKES it). It's that the porn brings up some insecurity, something that she wants - bigger breasts, a skinny body, whatever the case may be.

So anyway! My boyfriend's parents and little sisters got me presents and a card and I felt really welcomed and loved. I was on the verge of tears!

Now I'm going to get the tattoo on my arm filled in and have a wonderful day!
