Been thinking a lot about my dad the past couple of weeks. I thought about the times him and I would go to the pub. I miss those times, shooting pool and having drinks. Not your typical father daughter get together. But I loved every minute of it and wish I had it back. My father passed away last Dec. with cancer. I am so proud of him, he was determined win the battle. He fought like a true hero till the end.
Looking back at growing up. I seemed to take advantage of the times we had together. Saying he drove me crazy and I couldn't wait to get out. I am just glad I have those memories to hold onto.
I am wanting to get a new tattoo. One to tribute my father. Something Irish. I am thinking about a Celtic knot with his name in it.
