just finished a long weekend of "dancing throught the flu..."
1 dress rehersal, 5 or 6 run throughs of my scene, 2 days of helping out in wardrobe, and four full lenght performances...all whilst nursing a serious case of the flu...(had a 105 fever at one point)...
i didn't remember how much i missed being on stage. the feeling you get when you can actually dance something full out and all the way through, instead of just taking class all week and training, and going to rehersals...
best moment: my pirouette was absolutely perfect for the last show!
funniest moment: me running around on stage, being so happy about the pirouette, that i hadn't noticed the ribbon on my shoe had "unsewn" itself, and was trailing about 2 feet behind me as i was dancing...
worst moment: running around like a maniac durring the last dress rehersal, with a fever, and serious illness catching up to me quick.

my cedar...
isn't it funny how we will totally work our asses off when sick just because it is for something we love so much? i used to never ever call in sick to work, but then realized i was no good when i was sick... and it wasn't fair to others.
hope you are feeling better!!
