for the last six months i've been working relentless six day weeks and even going out and doing extra jobs after a nine hour shift at the aquarium. and for what if i maybe so bold as to ask? reducing my debt by 50%? being able to buy neat things that might keep me amused for sixtysix minutes? having the new Joy Zipper cd? it's sucking the life right out of me. i've been so despondent lately that i'm jealous of my manic depressive friends because at least they have their mania to interrupt their cycle of depression. i'm going on vacation in a couple of weeks and i'm afraid if i don't escape this malaise the entire sojourn will have been for naught. i find myself of late to be quoting things which ought not to be quoted.

maybe a prozac and ritalin cocktail is what is required. that way i will be able to happily march off to my six day work week and be productive and cheerful.
either that or i want to be head over heels deeply smitten with a bad case of puppy love.

Good luck with the next few months until vacation time. I'm certainly looking forward to my time off. My mom just returned from a visit to Alaska!! I can't wait to see the pictures!
