In VA beach for a few days to decompress - nice to be away and actually reflect on a few decisions that need to be made over the next few months. I've decided to leave my job - as kick ass as it is, I think it's time for a change and a move - just need to get some things realigned, and the logical choice is to exhale through to another chapter of life. In a way, I'm pretty excited about the potential change, the last few years of this job has weighed heavy on my heart - leading the charge of lay-offs and finding ways to do more with less has made me age in a way I would never wish on another, and takes me away from the simple life I envisioned for myself.
Time to build the ol' resume and see what world has to offer - might take that step toward the west I've been feeling.
