wow, today felt like a long day. but not really in a bad way. i woke up at 7ish, which is insanely early for me. we went to t's parents and shovled all the snow out of their driveway, because they've been out of town. man, 6 or 7 inches of snow is heavy after sitting for a couple of days. it felt good to...

i'm on a quest for the perfect "hangout".
it will be somewhere t and i can go and sit and talk for hours. the only real requirements are, we have to like it, it can't be too loud or too quiet, and you must be able to smoke.

ideally this place would be a diner type place, like monk's on seinfeld. a second best, would...

i feel an insane need to create something.
but i don't have an avenue of expression yet.
maybe this is why i take so easily to suggestion.
sometimes i want to paint, other times to be a singer/songwriter,
maybe write the great american novel, who knows.
tonight i watched pump up the volume.
wow, amazing, what teenager didn't feel like that.
hell, who doesn't still...

melladoree:
you are just lovely!

My original plan with my journal was to have noone know who I was BUT then I moved to LA and used it to make friends, the hard part now is that I know too many people and my journal is often critisized. I hate that, I still go by the logical that it is mine and people can fuck off if they dont like it, BUT I do have to change things every once in a while to avoid stupid drama!

today, i wish all my sg friends lived much closer to me. then, tonight we could all go out and eat some pie and ice cream, and then go bowling. after that, we would make some snow angels and do some other cool stuff. yeah... that's what i wish i could do tonight. smile wink

Going out vegetarian isn't that hard, vegan? Unfortunately yes,

I tend to go to places where I can peruse their menu online or in a mag before I venture there, which also unfortunately, diminishes the whole experience of dining at a 'new' restaurant.

There's places though, that are quite concillatory like Pizza Luce, where they go out of their way to accomidate vegans, including a 'ricotta' like spread made from nuts.

There are pluses though. I get to make sure everything is spiced to my preferences, I don't have to pay for the preparation of the food like I would in a restaurant., and the best is I can honestly say I'm a good cook, and we all know that usually scores a few points with potential S.O.'s

the hair on top felt funny and he kept kind of moving his head out of the way when i would try to touch the top... however, later, he was touching it.
i dunno. also it felt kinda strange around the hairline and in the back, like where the plugs might start.

simple things make me happy.
and i think i made someone else happy last night.
that's a really good feeling.

not everyone needs a plan, right?

so, after thinking about yesterdays road trip entry, i've decided to go for it. we're planning on april or sometime around then, i'm thinking we'll take about a month to travel. the only destination we have is west, but hell even that's tentative.

so here's my challenge to you...
convince me i should go to your city (or any city really). i need some direction!!!

i want to take a road trip to the grand canyon. and then keep driving until i hit the ocean. i'll see as much as i possibly can before i'm forced to come home from exhaustion or boredom or being broke. i want to drive with no set destination and make it up as i go along. maybe i'll skip out on school this semester...

I like Good Eats quite a bit. I need to actually sit down with a pen and paper on that one sometime, cause he has good stuff that I think I could actually do.

I've also been watching 30 Minute Meals, cause it's on right when I get home from work, and I have a crush on Rachel Ray now blush

Not that long... only 2 weeks, whole resolution thing. It's not that hard, I'm missing cheese, but I'm quickly getting over it. I've started using lots of spices, found out I like my food more fragrant than filling... lends to the experience.
