but after being run ragged for a week to two...it wears on your soul a bit..especially when you cant even go to a funeral or memorial or anything...instead you take a trip down rte tampa and someone tries very hard to blow you up...

so i have been on more missions...and we've called EOD a few times, and detained some people, and excorted lots of line haul units and KBR dudes, and of course third country nationals....and i have pictures...lots of them...from turkey to iraq from helicopters to hmmwvs...ill be posting soon...once they get resized for SG....gotta run....havent showered in a few days...kinda smelly....

so...girlfriend is gone again. fuckin marine corps. drinking is losing its pleasures. video games are boring. i can't find a decent hockey game on TV down here, cus i cant have a satellite in the barracks. most of the people down here dont even know what hockey is. i re-enlisted. got some bonus money. thinking about becoming an officer. want the lady back home.

hey it's been a wee bit. everything is ok, with the exception of having my lady here in town. that kicks ass. but i've been in the field for a few days(cold rain mud marching). it sucked. also lady leaves monday. that blows ass. but there is a possibility of me becoming an officer in the future. that's not so bad.

The real problem with the last time I sighted in was that it was a new scope at only 50yards. And if you're shooting a non broken in gun, with a Kalinka Optics 4-8x42 side rail mounted scope at 50yds you'll prolly shoot high as the scope is meant to start at about 100m. Shot fine over the irons at 50 though.
