I am most certain that this mystery flower of yours (which is INCREDIBLE!) is a hybrid of this flower. I got a version of it in my shop once and it actually looked more like your fella. Unfortunately I have no idea what its name is but I'll find out next time we get exotics. Where was this picture taken? It's hard for me to imagine such a gem outside Hawaii.
