I awoke to rain this morning. Not bad rain, but soft, sweet smelling, spring rain. I took the dog out and she seemed to enjoy the feel of the moist grass. She ran in crazy circles and then from one side of the yard to the other. She must have spring fever as well. Watching her made me smile...and let me just tell you, there aren't too many things that dog does that makes me smile. She and I have a very love/hate relationship...but thats a journal for another day.
As I started my commute, the rain had all but stopped and the sun was beginning to force its way through the clouds. By the time I got to work I had my sunglasses on, jamming to Blink 182's new CD (which I am now able to listen to without adverse affects on my mood...yeah for me!) and chatting with my girl josephene who without, I would be lost.
Looking out my window I notice the clouds have once again won the battle over the sun. But that doesn't matter. My outlook is bright and I enjoy the beauty and warmth of soft spring rain. I am going to take full advantage of the solitude of my office today because when I get home....CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will do my best to be on as much as possible throughout the weekend, however, with a house full 'o family, not sure that will be possible. I will do my best, you all know I will. How would I survive a whole weekend without all of you!?!?
