crap...albertson's went to a card program. being 15 blocks away, they are way too convenient not to use, but i just hate those. i haven't set foot in a safeway since they got one.
what an incredibly nice weekend. i laid out on a bench in my backyard with a couple of cats saturday afternoon for nearly an hour and just absorbed the sunshine. such a great late summer and fall we've had. bought 65 pounds of birdseed that day. birds and squirrels are happy. the raccoon was apparently in Friday night - dish for the neighbor's cat was knocked over.
man, i slept so good friday night. was up and out by about 10 saturday morning. that evening had a cranberry kazi with dinner and could not stay awake afterwards, so took a nap for about an hour. then did not sleep well saturday night. went to bed after 2. kids were making noise at around 3. something woke me up again around 4. friend called at about 9:30 and woke me up yet again. tried taking a nap this evening. bad sleep.
friend came over to play BGII:SoA on my pc this afternoon/evening since she doesn't have one. she brought peanut butter brownies - yum! i have not decided what game i want next. was waiting for Call of Cthulhu - Dark Corners of the Earth to come out in August, but that has been pushed out until Q1 2003. played the open beta of Neocron for several weeks - not bad. i'd pay $5 a month to play. don't know that i'd pay $10 to $15 a month. others i've played and liked: Arcanum, Buried in Time - the Journeyman Project 2, Fallout 2, Half-Life, IWD, Myst series, Planescape:Torment, System Shock 2, Unreal. if anyone has suggestions, let me know.

So I actually do have health insurance now. I don't get it through an employer so I pay $110/mo just for Kaiser medical. Blah! But I'll have to check into allergy testing. That never occured to me! Ooh, if I'm allergic to animals I will cry though. Thanks for the advice!
