i've never had a coldsore, but my husband gets one sometimes. the doctor gave him some sort of herpes medicine, and if he takes it when he feels like a cold sore is coming, it usually goes away faster. since he can tell when one's coming, at least he knows not to kiss me, so he's never given his coldsore to me.

you asked why i feel that an education degree is uselss... well i might be a little jaded, but i feel that education is slipping away from teacher control and that a m.s. in edu is like getting a phd in breathing, as soon it will be just bodies contoling a class -- not unlike a prison guard -- and another body reading from the sheet that has been okayed by our government...
or at least that is the way public schools are to become, and to teach in a private school you do not need the m.s. and in fact it will harm you more than help, as edu programs try and indoctrinate you in one way of doing things -- only to have philosophy change and then you have to be indoctrinated in the next wave too: this way they get to increase the coligate coffers as teachers have to constantly go back to school...
but this is coming from someone who is fed up with the systema and is getting out in june, hoping never to step foot in a public school again.
this mind you is from a person that two years ago would have given up oxygen rather than take away public education.
today teachers do not so much teach as resemble teachers we are simalacra, video screens of our teacehrs, and failing hand over fist.

i work in an office, and i'm always coming in w/different colors. at most i had 7 total at once. anyway, an older lady i work with keeps saying she's going to do hers. i dont think it would go over well with the big boss though since she works at the front desk. but i did inspire another student that works there. hehe. a week after he started he came in with blue hair.
