long long car trip once again through one of the most boring landscapes ever to see my sister off to school. and twice indown and living the rest of my life is central california. my god. once the car pulled out of that godforsaken agricultural region and i could see the ocean again, i felt so much better.

i had a similar experience driving through the mountains from pheonix to long beach where my mom lives. the sun was shining out through the clouds and there was a rainbox over the mountains. all the clouds were big a broght white and the mountains were really deep reds and purples. it was amazing! i had to paint it.
