yesterday, i went to the beach for the first time in years, even though its only about 20 minutes away. i think i might be spending a lot more time there this summer...

lately work has been a huge blur of wasteful, awful concoction making.

yesterday: ice-blended croissaint.
today: orange juice + orange syrup + espresso.

so i caved and got an ipod.
it may just be the most useful complete waste of money ever.

and i just realized there is one more week to the semester than i thought. i can't decide whether that is good or bad.

my cable now has a bunch of new channels. after never ever fucking having it, we finally get comedy central...

You know that horrible feeling that happens when you sleep too much? I had that upon waking this morning, even though I did not sleep an excessive amount. It appears to be making me tired for the entire day. I think it is time for another coffee run.

fuck. the end of the semester has come out of nowhere again. only two and a half weeks left. the most surprising part is that i'm actually prepared for it this time.

there are children outside playing. they are making very loud fart noises. its almost as funny/annoying as the time one of them got ahold of a toy trumpet.

so far this has been the most bearable hangover day ever.

i don't really think almost total lack of motivation is really that bad of a thing, is it?

eeeg. just when i think i'm going to get to sleep in and not have to work tomorrow, something i'd rather work than have happen comes up.

but at least today was good. friends' birthdays give EVERYONE an exuse to get excessively drunk at very early hours in the middle of the week.
