Yesterday was much better at work. I got to stick it to the crazy lady, right in front of the boss. I felt smart and powerful. After that, the day was great. I was my old nice self to the kids (not the standoffish bitch I'd been) I appreciated the simple aspects of the job like hand washing and story reading and booboo fixing. And though I still loathe the cooking and cleaning, I did it better.
Today sucked ass cause I had a root canal. It was so scary. The doctor made me cry as he was explaining the procedure. I just burst into tears because he made it sound so brutal and invasive. Then he threatened to not even finish it today if I freaked out, which was MEAN, but shut me the hell up. I just woke up from my post-dentist-don't-be-awake-when-the-anisthetic-ears-off nap, now I'm just cranky. And hungry and caffeine deprived. Oh well. At least I don't have to go back to work for a week. Then I'm off for 3 weeks! Hooray Christmas Vacation!!
That was auch a shitty mundane update. I'll try to do better later.
