Home again, home again, jiggety-jig...
What a hectic (and, ultimately, rewarding) three weeks. Spent the entire time with the new girlfriend (and not a single complaint, despite it being the largest single block of time spent with a woman in the last 6 years), got paid to do some artwork (yay!), and didn't get hamburgered on the highway, despite putting nearly 6000 miles on my car since the week before Christmas...
To temper all this happy goodness, though, I discovered that I am finally being called to pay up for a life of unmitigated debauchery.
One would think that I had discovered that I had contracted some horrible, incurable disease, which would eventually render me demented and feeble, before extinguishing my lifespark in a final, exquisitely painful flash of unfathomable agony. (Yes, that was redundant, but it's supposed to HURT, dammit.)
Instead, I get... kidney stones. *le sigh*
Five of them, ranging in size from 3mm to 11mm. Yes, that is 11mm. About a half inch. I don't think I'll be passing that one.
