Looking forward to a visit from the girlfriend this week, although I doubt we'll get to do a great deal, since I'm getting my hernia repaired on Monday. Driving 2 hours to Richmond to pick her up should be interesting, with a fresh surgical scar, and all.
People used to say that I'm hard as woodpecker lips. I guess we'll see, lol.
I finally found a model willing to work for me, and she's scheduled to come over in about a week. It should be a good session, and it will be good to finally get to practice some drawing from an actual person, instead of having to use photographs all the time. Ironically, she's going to be doing some photography modeling for me as well, if all goes to plan.
To be honest, I'm scared shitless by the prospect of being out of work in January; it will be the first time I've been jobless since I was 15 years old...
